General Information

Karen Walsh is Business Development Manager for The SLC Group. Karen is responsible for maintaining and developing our services across Lancashire, Salford, Manchester, Trafford, Glossop and Yorkshire.

Karen’s role includes managing referrals and undertaking assessments for individuals looking to receive support from The SLC Group - working closely with operational staff to find the correct placement for each individual and to ensure the personalisation of their service.

Karen has worked for the organisation since 1999 in a range of job roles, including Support Worker, Service Manager and Training Manager - enabling her to bring a wide and varied skill set to her current role.

Karen has a Higher Education Diploma from The University of Central Lancashire in Social Work and Welfare studies.
