General Information

David Gillies in the Regional Operations Manager for Preston, Blackburn with Darwen and East Lancashire.

David’s has significant experience in the Social Care Sector – previously working for RNID for over 21 years, most recently as Regional Community Services Manager.  During this time David played an active role in RNIDs continuous improvement programme in relation to Supporting People and the organisation’s Service User Involvement Team.

David is currently working closely with The SLC Group transition team in Birmingham to help facilitate with the communication needs of Service Users and staff from our sensory and physical disability services in the area.

David is a qualified level 3 signer and has over 21 years experience of working with people with a range of sensory impairments, including dual sensory impairments.
