Abingdon is The SLC Group’s specialist outcome focussed residential and crisis intervention service in Southport that provides intensive support for individuals with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour.
Abingdon can provide long-term residential placements and also short stay and respite placements, including effective emergency respite and can provide an alternative to hospital admission. This Service is a flexible and positive choice for individuals who;

are in crisis
-
are looking for a change of environment short term and/or want an active break away from home
-
need emergency accommodation.
For those on a short-term placement, Abingdon’s staff will use support and rehabilitation to return them to an effective long-term living arrangement which can include less intensive community services.
