Q What is Supported Living?
The aim of supported living is to provide support to adults and young people with a range of needs, enabling them to live in their own homes in the community. It differs from residential care in that you are a tenant in your own home, choosing the type of tenancy in which you would like to live, and are supported to take control of your support and lead the life you want.
Q Who is it for?
Supported living is not just for people who are ‘able’. Anyone can be supported in their own home regardless of ability to gain increased levels of independence and new skills.
